My debut romantic comedy, Love Is A Four-Legged Word is published as a trade paperback by Berkley Sensation and is on sale in the United States now.  Set in San Francisco, it's a humorous romance about Brutus, a little mutt who inherits a big fortune, and the people he brings together - quirky chef Maddy Cartwright and ambitious lawyer Tom O'Brien.

Animals have always been a special part of my life and keep sneaking into everything I write. In Love Is A Four-Legged Word, a dog plays as important a role as the human characters. I love his picture on my cover - my millionaire mutt Brutus is just how I imagined him. Click on Pet Gallery to meet some of the four-legged friends in my life.

Brutus is a greedy little dog with a very sweet tooth and Maddy faces a challenge to feed this trash-can-on-four legs healthy snacks. On Recipes Maddy shares her home-cooked gourmet treats for dogs, starting with Brutus's Favorite Cupcakes. On the book's cover, you can see the pink frosting Maddy is whipping up for them until Tom distracts her.
